Xavier de Courville and Jacqueline Casadesus came back to France in 1938 after several European tours. They both started the “Theâtre Arlequin”(1942-1954), then the “Micro-opéra” (1954-1973).

She delicately interpreted works as varied as”La servante maitresse” by Pergolèse, “la Cantate du Café” by Bach “Le combat de Tancrède et de Clorinde” by Monterverdi, “Monsieur Choufleuri restera chez lui” by Offenbach or “Les Sept chansons populaires espagnoles » by Falla and « La Cavatine » by Rossini.
